About Abigail Medvin Mago

Abigail Mago is a Licensed Broker and has been a New York State real estate licensee for over 17 years. A consistent top producer, Abi is the foremost expert on the Fire Island real estate market, and tracks and analyzes Fire Island sales transaction data on a weekly basis.

Abi's extensive local knowledge encompasses much more than just market data. She has renovated more than 30 homes on Fire Island and through that experience has gained in-depth knowledge of construction methods, design, local zoning laws, and real estate finance. She is particularly adept at identifying the best ways to maximize a property's potential through renovations and helping her buyers to see that vision.

Along with her brother and business partner, Alan Medvin, Abi co-founded A2 Vacation Homes which provided rental management services for over 30 investment properties on Fire Island, and was subsequently acquired by Vacasa, the world's largest vacation rental manager. Running A2 Vacation Homes gave Abi a unique understanding of the changing vacation rental marketplace, allowing her to offer invaluable counsel and helpful insights to buyers looking to purchase vacation homes purely as a rental investment, or as a hybrid of personal use and investment purchase.

Known for her organization and attention to detail, Abi is committed to providing the highest level of client service on both the buying and selling side. Having spent her every summer on Fire Island, she is a local expert. Over the years Abi has developed an outstanding network of fellow professionals servicing Fire Island and always has a recommendation at the ready when her clients seek her advice on the best contractors, architects, landscapers, insurance agents, attorneys, mortgage providers and other vendors.

In March of 2021, Abi and Alan acquired Fire Island Sales & Rentals and merged their team from Fire Island Real Estate to operate going forward under the Fire Island Sales & Rentals banner. Prior to her tenure at Fire Island Real Estate, Abi was a Sales Associate at Brown Harris Stevens in Manhattan where she serviced over $75 million worth of transactions. Abi holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Dartmouth College as well as a Master's in Real Estate Development from New York University's Schack Institute of Real Estate. When not working, you will usually find her hanging out with her husband, Sanjeev, and her son, Maverick. She enjoys practicing hot yoga and watching unhealthy amounts of home improvement television shows. Abi and her family reside in Seaview.
